VCTR Performance VW Golf R MK7 / Audi S3 8V Intercooler

Overview

The VCTR Performance MK7 Golf R/8V S3 intercooler upgrade uses a bar-and-plate core design. The intercooler removes heat from compressed intake air before it reaches the engine, making charge-air cooling a key part of a well-balanced turbo build.

Why Upgrade?

• Removes heat from compressed intake air
• Supports more consistent charge-air temperatures under load
• A cooling upgrade that complements the rest of the turbo setup
• 6061 aluminium construction

Built for the Drive, Not Just the Dyno

Boost brings heat with it. An intercooler gives that heat somewhere to go before the air reaches the engine — a practical part of a turbo car that needs to do more than one quick pull.
