Overview

The S55 builds oil temperature quickly during track and extended hard use. The factory oil cooling system is adequate for road use but not designed for sustained track conditions. This oil cooler kit provides additional thermal management to keep oil temperatures stable.

Oil temperature is the metric a track day actually punishes — a hot lap is fine, three hot laps back to back is where the factory cooling system runs out of margin. A dedicated cooler is cheap insurance against the kind of thermal stress that shortens an engine's life long before it shows up as a power number.
