Overview

The EA855 five-cylinder produces a naturally distinctive induction sound that the factory airbox does its best to suppress. This carbon fibre intake system opens up that sound while providing a less restricted path to the turbocharger — improving induction character and supporting the airflow demands of tuned RS3 and TTRS builds.

Engineering Focus

Carbon fibre tube construction provides a direct path from the filter to the EA855 compressor inlet. The material's thermal properties help keep intake air cooler than the factory plastic assembly, which is important for maintaining charge density on the five-cylinder turbo.

Note: this intake system fits the shared EA855 2.5T platform across RS3 8V/8V.2, TTRS 8S and RSQ3 F3 — same engine, same flange. It does not fit standard A3/S3 8V (EA888) vehicles, which use a different engine entirely.
