Most modern Subaru models are equipped with a TGV assembly, short for Tumble Generator Valve. The TGV assembly includes a flapper valve designed to create a “tumble” effect in the incoming air, which aids cold-start emissions. However, this feature is unnecessary once the engine is warm, and Subaru models in regions like Japan are often built without it. Even when fully open, the TGV flapper valve significantly restricts airflow, limiting engine performance. While it may not be an issue for a stock engine, upgraded setups with larger turbochargers, high-capacity intercoolers, or performance exhaust systems demand unrestricted airflow for maximum power.

Additionally, the stock TGV assembly can make installing larger turbochargers more challenging. Though removing the TGV valves may trigger an error code, this is easily resolved through ECU tuning solutions.

AVOTurboworld’s TGV Deletes are expertly engineered to enhance airflow and improve compatibility with larger turbochargers. These units:

  • Eliminate the restrictive valves, ensuring smooth, unrestricted airflow
  • Feature precision machining to accommodate larger turbochargers and intake hoses
  • Are available in a durable, high-quality black powder coat or the iconic STI red wrinkle finish

Upgrade your Subaru with AVO Turbo TGV Deletes to unlock its true performance potential and enjoy smoother installations of high-performance components. Whether you're aiming for big power or simply optimizing your build, this upgrade is a must-have for serious enthusiasts.
