The N54 twin-turbo runs a factory intake assembly that introduces restriction before the compressor wheels. This intake system replaces the OEM unit with a more direct path — improving how the N54 draws air under boost and sharpening the induction character that the stock intake suppresses.
Constructed from high-flow silicone with matched aluminium pipe sections, this intake is sized for the N54 twin-turbo platform across both the 135i and 335i E-series chassis.
The N54's factory intake was designed around a much milder factory tune than most owners are running today — and feeding two turbos through one restrictive path doubles the cost of that compromise. A more direct silicone-and-aluminium path is the simplest fix in the book for a platform that's earned its tuning reputation many times over.
