The S55 uses a water-to-air charge cooling system. The factory heat exchanger manages OEM output, but as intake temperatures climb under extended boost cycles, cooling capacity becomes a limiting factor. This charge cooler heat exchanger provides improved thermal efficiency over the OEM unit.
