VCTR Performance VW Golf R MK8 / Audi S3 8Y Catless Downpipe Kit

Overview

The Golf R MK8's factory downpipe includes an OPF (Otto Particle Filter) that is the most significant restriction in the EA888 Gen4 exhaust path. Removing it with this catless unit opens up post-turbo flow, improves spool and turbo response, and gives the exhaust system a more defined tone.

Note: downpipe fitment follows engine output/turbo specification rather than chassis alone — Golf R and S3 8Y share the same higher-output EA888 Gen4 tune and downpipe flange. This kit does not fit Golf GTI or Audi A3 8Y, which use a different downpipe specification (see our separate GTI/A3 kit), nor MK7 Golf or Audi 8V platform vehicles.
