Overview

The MK8 GTI's factory intake is a well-engineered but restrictive OEM assembly that muffles induction sound in favour of cabin refinement. This carbon fibre intake system replaces it with a more direct path to the EA888 Gen4 turbocharger — improving sound, reducing intake air temperature, and giving the engine bay a cleaner, more premium appearance.

Note: this carbon intake fits the shared MQB Evo platform across Golf GTI/R MK8 and A3/S3 8Y — same engine bay, same fit. It does not fit MK7 Golf or Audi 8V platform vehicles, which use an earlier-generation intake; see our separate MK7/8V intake for those models.
