This carbon fibre intake system replaces the factory S55 inlet with a direct cold-air path to the twin-turbo compressor inlets. Carbon construction improves thermal management of intake air versus the OEM plastic assembly, and the gloss finish gives the S55 engine bay a sharper, more purposeful appearance.
Designed as a direct cold air intake for the F80/F82 S55, the system routes fresh air from a lower-temperature source and uses carbon fibre throughout for thermal advantage and aesthetics.
Engine bay air is always warmer than ambient — it's the one constant every factory intake has to fight. A genuine cold-air path, in carbon that manages heat better than the factory plastic, keeps the S55's twin turbos fed with denser air while looking the part doing it.
